• National Outdoor Sculpture Competition & Exhibition – (6.3 miles from Hotel) – May 4, 2022 - March 19, 2023 – The sixteenth annual National Outdoor Sculpture Competition and Exhibition FY22/23 opens May 4 at the stunning North Charleston Riverfront Park. The 11-month exhibition features 14 pieces by established and emerging artists from 6 states displaying imaginative and thought-provoking outdoor sculpture.  Visitors can enjoy the sculpture displays among ten acres of walking paths, a fishing pier, boardwalk, playground, and children's play fountain. Organized and presented by the City of North Charleston Cultural Arts Department.
• PURE Theatre's 20th Anniversary Season – (1.3 miles from Hotel). Season 20 performances will take place at the Cannon Street Arts Center. Clyde's by Lynn Nottage: January 12 - February 4, 2023: Creating the perfect sandwich is the shared quest of Clyde's formerly incarcerated kitchen staff, a truck stop cafe. Even as the shop's mischievous owner tries to keep them under her thumb, the staffers are given purpose and permission to dream.
• The Gatsby Gala III – (0.7 miles from Hotel) - Take a journey with us back in time when things were more simple, glamorous, yet more sophisticated. Join us on February 3rd and 4th as we transform Charleston's Festival Hall into a spectacle that would make envious even ole' Jay Gatz. Live music, DJs, dancers, and other performers, flowing
  libations, and you, will all make this a night to remember for years to come old sport! Guests are encouraged to adorn themselves in their finest Gatsby/1920s-Esque attire or, at the very least, their contemporary formal wear. A portion of the proceeds will support the Going Places.
• Historic Charleston City Market – (0.8 miles from Hotel) is one of the nation's oldest public markets and is the cultural heart of Charleston. • Revival – (0.9 miles from Hotel) The concept for Revival is modern yet relaxed dining with a focus on recipes and ingredients from South Carolina's past. We have worked with local farmers to "revive" certain ingredients and utilize them in our dishes. A sample of these ingredients includes the previously extinct Nostrale rice, Jimmy Red grits, or the Bradford Watermelon.
• Poogan's Porch – (0.7 miles from Hotel) Tucked away on charming Queen Street, Poogan's Porch is Charleston's oldest independent culinary establishment, with a fresh approach to Lowcountry cuisine. • Boone Hall Plantation & Gardens – (12 miles from Hotel) Boone Hall Plantation was founded in 1681 when Englishman Major John Boone came to Charleston and established a lucrative plantation and gracious home on the banks of Wampacheone Creek. The family and descendants of Major Boone were influential in the history of South Carolina, the colonies, and the nation. In 1743, the son of Major John Boone planted live oak trees, arranging them in two evenly spaced rows. This  spectacular approach to his home symbolizes the southern heritage and will take root in your memory for many years to come. It would take two centuries for the massive, moss-draped branches to meet overhead, forming today's natural corridor and a scene that NBC Daytime television says is "a must-see stop on any trip to Charleston, SC."
