Even as the shop's mischievous owner tries to keep them under her thumb, the staffers are given purpose and permission to dream.
  • The Gatsby Gala III(0.7 miles from Hotel) - Take a journey with us back in time when things were more simple, glamorous, yet more sophisticated. Join us on February 3rd and 4th as we transform Charleston's Festival Hall into a spectacle that would make envious even ole' Jay Gatz. Live music, DJs, dancers, and other performers, flowing
libations, and you, will all make this a night to remember for years to come old sport! Guests are encouraged to adorn themselves in their finest Gatsby/1920s-Esque attire or, at the very least, their contemporary formal wear. A portion of the proceeds will support the Going Places.

We are home to more than 300 vibrant entrepreneurs, and we are open every day of the year except December 25. Must-Try Restaurants:

  • Magnolias(0.8 miles from Hotel) Magnolias ignited a culinary renaissance upon opening in Charleston, SC, paving the way for a new generation of Lowcountry cooking in the city and across the entire South. A staple in Charleston for over 30 years, Magnolias remains a forerunner in upscale Southern cuisine, presenting traditional ingredients and cooking techniques elevated by modern flair and artful presentation.
  • Revival(0.9 miles from Hotel) The concept for Revival is modern yet relaxed dining with a focus on recipes and ingredients from South Carolina's past. We have worked with local farmers to "revive" certain ingredients and utilize them in our dishes. A sample of these ingredients includes the previously extinct Nostrale rice, Jimmy Red grits, or the Bradford Watermelon.
  • Poogan's Porch(0.7 miles from Hotel) Tucked away on charming Queen Street, Poogan's Porch is Charleston's oldest independent culinary establishment, with a fresh approach to Lowcountry cuisine. This beautifully restored Victorian house is the perfect southern spot for daily brunch and dinner, recognized by Martha Stewart Living, Southern Living, and The Travel Channel, among many others.
  • Poogan's Smokehouse(0.8 miles from Hotel) Rooted in our passion for slow-smoked Southern BBQ and scratch kitchen concept, Poogan's Smokehouse carries on the tradition of barbecue passed down from generation to generation.
  • Kaminsky's Dessert Café(0.6 miles from Hotel) Kaminsky's entices visitors into its cozy atmosphere with a rotating selection of delectable desserts made in-house daily, in addition to heaping milkshakes, specialty coffees, and cold beverage creations. Delight in over-the-top varieties of classic childhood desserts, signature hot-spirited specialties, dessert martinis, and hot toddies. A full beer, wine, and liquor selection are also available.
  • Halls Chophouse(0.3 miles from Hotel) The Hall family opened the doors of Halls Chophouse Charleston in 2009, but their pursuit of exceptional hospitality started long before. Bill Hall spent more than forty years of his career operating hotels and restaurants in Pinehurst, Hilton Head Island, Sea Island, Napa Valley, and Pebble Beach with his wife, Jeanne, by his side. After their daughter Stacey moved to the Holy City to attend the College of Charleston, Mr. and Mrs. Hall decided to plant roots in the Lowcountry and open a restaurant of their own. Halls Chophouse had it all: the finest steaks money could buy, an extensive wine list, and hearty family-style sides-- but the staff's service and warmth set them apart.
  • Slightly North of Broad (SNOB)(0.8 miles from Hotel) This beautiful restaurant is in the city of Charleston, South Carolina. One of the things that makes it so unique is that it's in a warehouse, which immediately establishes a setting for your meal. Slightly North of Broad, or SNOB as it's primarily known, is specialized in modern Southern and Lowcountry cuisine, with explosive flavors that have allowed it to establish itself as one of the best in the area.
  • Coast Bar & Grill – (0.3 miles from Hotel) Located in a historic warehouse, Coast Bar and Grill feature 40-foot ceilings, rustic tin roofs, and art from around the world, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of an eclectic beach bar. Their chefs are dedicated to procuring the freshest  seafood from the Charleston shores and around the Lowcountry. Served nightly, our menu offers seafood classics along with the chefs' nightly unique creations. At the heart of Coast Bar and Grill is the hickory and oak custom wood-burning grill, a feature you will only find at Coast.
  • High Cotton(0.8 miles from Hotel) From conversation and laughter in our bar to stylish dining rooms of heart pine floors and antique brick, you'll understand genuine Charleston hospitality. There's always cause for celebration – of our neighbors, our food and drink, and each other. It's our great pleasure to share it with you.

See layers of history carefully preserved on the 125 acres surrounding the main house with stunning views of the Ashley River, the reflecting pond, and the 18th-century live oak trees. Included in your All-Access Admission ticket, you will receive full access to the landscape, the Lenhardt Garden, an 18th-century African American cemetery, and a chance to view the Orientation Video.
  • Boone Hall Plantation & Gardens(12 miles from Hotel) Boone Hall Plantation was founded in 1681 when Englishman Major John Boone came to Charleston and established a lucrative plantation and gracious home on the banks of Wampacheone Creek. The family and descendants of Major Boone were influential in the history of South Carolina, the colonies, and the nation. In 1743, the son of Major John Boone planted live oak trees, arranging them in two evenly spaced rows. This  spectacular approach to his home symbolizes the southern heritage and will take root in your memory for many years to come. It would take two centuries for the massive, moss-draped branches to meet overhead, forming today's natural corridor and a scene that NBC Daytime television says is "a must-see stop on any trip to Charleston, SC." Boone Hall has also been recognized as the #1 Plantation in the Charleston Area by USA
    TODAY.
  • Sip n' Shop(0.4 miles from Hotel) This is the perfect tour for girlfriends and bachelorettes who love to shop, drink wine and champagne, and get incredible discounts. You'll get a taste of both and a few cocktails. We wouldn't want you to be thirsty now, would we? You might need a few adult beverages to handle some of these stories. Charleston's mild climate and brisk river breeze make a perfect backdrop for an extraordinary evening. Join one of our guides and sample your choice of cocktails from some of the finest bars Charleston has to offer. Drinks are NOT included in the price of the ticket.
